Davos Klosters

Davos is a town in the Swiss Alps, within the canton of Graubünden. It’s a popular ski resort with a conference center that hosts the annual World Economic Forum. Downhill and cross-country ski areas include Jakobshorn, Pischa, Rinerhorn and Parsenn. Summer activities include swimming and sailing on Lake Davos, hiking and mountain biking. The Glacier Express, a scenic train ride, connects Davos to the Matterhorn.

The winter guest programme

“Davos Klosters Inside”, the free guest programme, offers daily winter experiences accompanied by local insiders. Experience sunrise on the mountain, take a glimpse behind the scenes at the Piste and Rescue Service or take part in a torchlight hike.

Davos Klosters Inside consists of 30 experiences in the categories Sports & Adventure, Kids & Family, Visits & Excursions as well as Art & Culture, which are offered free of charge weekly from mid-December until mid-April.

Bookable two weeks in advance

The individual experiences can be booked at the guest advisory service two weeks before the event. A maximum of 5 tickets can be purchased per person and activity. Speaking of booking: The guest program is aimed at individual guests. Groups can book the majority of the activities offered with the respective provider for a fee.

Early Bird skiing (Parsenn)

Enjoy an absolutely unique snow experience with this Inside activity. Realise your dream of being the first on piste in the morning and leaving your mark on the freshly prepared slopes before the official opening time. Revel in the calm atmosphere of the morning and watch the sun rise on the breathtaking panorama of the Grisons mountains. Tip: Also a great experience in driving snow.

Ski Safari

An Inside offer tailored to anyone who would like to have maximum fun on the slopes on one day. The day starts off with an initial highlight: the 12-km long legendary Parsenn descent. Fun in the snow continues on the sunny Madrisa. This offers time for a sociable lunch in the new “Madrisahof” event chalet. We return in the afternoon on the Gotschna cable car and then finally head back into the valley to Klosters or Davos Wolfgang.

Winter torch trek

It surely is everybody’s dream to go on a night-time winter hike through a snow-covered landscape holding a burning torch. Our Insider will lead you through the snowy landscape, torch in hand. Enjoy the romantic views onto Klosters and warm up with a hot mug of mulled wine..

Ice Stadium Davos - Insights

Have you always wanted to know how an ice maker works or how the imposing Ice Stadium Davos was built? Our Hockey Club Davos (HCD) insiders will guide you through the ice stadium and share interesting facts and anecdotes about the HCD and its home. With some luck you may even have the chance to watch the pros train.

The summer guest programme

Experience Davos Klosters from a different angle between May and October. As an overnight guest you can participate in 70 activities. A total of 800 experiences all summer long.e.

What takes your fancy? A golf taster course? Or a guided tour through the Kirchner Museum? With the “Davos Klosters Active” summer guest programme, overnight guests have the opportunity to take part in over 70 activities. A total of more than 800 experiences – all summer long. The programme runs from 1 May to 16 October 2020. The individual experiences can be booked two weeks in advance at the Tourist Info.

Highlights of our guest program

A total of 70 free activities are available in the categories Sports & Adventure, Kids & Family, Art & Culture and Sightseeings & Excursions. Eight highlights briefly presented.

Mountain biking technique course

This course on biking technique not only deals with safe bike handling. Tricks in biking techniques are also learned and then immediately put into practice in the Bike Park at the Adventure Park Davos Färich. The rapid sense of achievement using simple tricks in technique promotes confidence and adds to biking fun and experience.

Stand up paddle surfing

Stand-up paddle surfing is a special surfing style, standing on a surfboard you are moving across the surface of the water with a paddle. This sport can be practiced in all waters. What could be more beautiful than paddling across Lake Davos surrounded by the wonderful Davos mountain world.

Family rafting

An adventure for the whole family! Head off down the river in full wild water clothing. Rafting is more than just an adventure – it’s a unique adventure in nature.

Adventure Park Davos Färich

The Adventure Park Färich is a rope and bike park for adventurers of all ages. It also offers a special children’s course and two children’s playgrounds.

Nostalgic trip to the brewery in Monstein

«Last beer stop before heaven!» – Discover a wealth of information on Davos and its surroundings on this trip to Davos Monstein in a vintage bus. On a walk through the typical Walser village of Monstein, you hear about its architecture and history. Then you visit Switzerland’s highest-altitude brewery, also the first show brewery in Grisons.

Visit to the Farmers on the Alp

Visit local farmers as they go about their day-to-day work together with our experienced guides. Look over their shoulder or try things out for yourself – whether milking or hay-making. At the same time, learn key facts and figures about the alpine work and agriculture in the region.
