This winter, it’s definitely worth it to book early – the destination Gstaad has introduced a dynamic pricing system. Additionally, the new Eggli cable car brings guests to Gstaad’s local mountain with even more comfort. The panoramic cable car for ten guests is an eye-catcher and offers a very comfortable ride thanks to the new suspension system. „Winding down“ is not only possible by “Ahifahre” in the Destination Gstaad, but also on the way up. The region has a further 9 chalet villages alongside Gstaad, located at an altitude of between 1,000 and 1,400 meters. Yet despite its style and class, Gstaad has remained genuinely Alpine and down-to-earth. It is proud of its tradition and lives and breathes it every day.

Winter sports Highlights

The Area Saanersloch lies at the very heart of the Destination’s largest ski arena. 105 kilometres of ski runs connect Saanenmöser to Zweisimmen and Schönried. The Saanersloch area is particularly popular with families and ski enthusiasts, thanks to its extensive network of blue and red runs and its many restaurants, cosy mountain lodges and ski bars.

Whiz downhill on your toboggan as you feel the driving snow on your face – if you love tobogganing then Gstaad with its six toboggan runs is the perfect place to be. And there are several mountain restaurants and snow bars along the way where you can relax and take a break.

Longest slope

The longest slope in the Gstaad ski area, a 7.5 km run, begins at La Videmanette. Skiers experience a 1160m altitude difference until they reach the valley. Thanks to the red and blue marked sections, even less experienced skiers can ski down parts of this slope.
